Snorkels are one of the most misunderstood and underrated accessories in the 4x4 market today.

While snorkels do allow you to drive your 4x4 through water, although it is not always recommended by manufacturers because of all the electronics and computers in today's vehicles, there is more functionality to the snorkel than simply preventing water from being sucked up by the air intake.

The snorkel also serves a very important purpose: to force cool air into the intake.

By taking in cool air through the snorkel, the motor is cooled with clean air that also contains 100% less dust than the original air intake would suck in. The air intake is usually under the front wheel where dust gets kicked up and, inevitably, sucked in by the filter hereby helping to improve vehicle performance while extending the life of your air filter.
